ONRUS

Terms and Conditions

Effective date: 13 October 2026

Welcome to ONRUS Supplies.

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the ONRUS Supplies website, online store, products and related services.

By accessing this website, creating an order or purchasing a product from ONRUS Supplies, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

1. Business information

This website is owned and operated by:

Business name: ONRUS Supplies (Pty) Ltd
Registration number: 2026/079980/07
Director: Charmaine James
Business address: Portion 4 of the Farm, Registration Division K.P., Limpopo Province, South Africa
Telephone: +27 71 535 0013
Email: sales@onrussupplies.co.za
Website: https://onrussupplies.co.za/

In these Terms and Conditions, “ONRUS”, “ONRUS Supplies”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to ONRUS Supplies (Pty) Ltd.

“You”, “your” and “customer” refer to any person who accesses the website, submits an enquiry or purchases products from ONRUS Supplies.

2. Acceptance of these terms

By using this website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by:

  • These Terms and Conditions
  • Our Privacy Policy
  • Our Shipping and Delivery Policy
  • Our Returns and Refunds Policy
  • Any product-specific instructions or warnings
  • Any promotional terms displayed on the website

If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use the website or place an order.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to remove or limit any rights afforded to consumers under applicable South African law.

3. Eligibility to purchase

By placing an order, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
  • The information you provide is complete and accurate
  • You are authorised to use the selected payment method
  • You understand that charcoal and firelighters are combustible products that require careful handling and storage

If you are purchasing on behalf of a business or another person, you confirm that you have authority to do so.

4. Use of the website

You may use this website only for lawful personal or commercial purchasing purposes.

You may not:

  • Use the website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes
  • Submit false or misleading information
  • Use another person’s payment details without permission
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems
  • Introduce viruses, malware or harmful code
  • Interfere with the operation or security of the website
  • Copy or commercially exploit website content without written permission
  • Use automated systems to scrape, harvest or reproduce website content
  • Place false, speculative or malicious orders

We may restrict access, cancel an order or report suspected unlawful activity where reasonably necessary.

5. Products

ONRUS Supplies sells charcoal, firelighters, braai products, outdoor fuel products, product bundles, bulk packs and related goods.

Product descriptions, photographs, quantities, dimensions and specifications are provided to help customers make an informed purchasing decision.

We take reasonable care to ensure that this information is accurate. However, the colour, packaging or appearance of a product may differ slightly from how it appears on a screen.

Because charcoal is a natural product, the pieces may differ in:

  • Size
  • Shape
  • Colour
  • Texture
  • Weight distribution

These natural differences do not automatically mean that a product is defective.

Props, food, braai equipment, wood, furniture and other objects shown in lifestyle photographs are not included unless expressly stated in the product description.

6. Product availability

All products are subject to availability.

Adding a product to your cart does not reserve that product. Stock is only allocated once payment has been successfully completed and the order has been accepted.

If a product becomes unavailable after payment, we will contact you and offer one of the following:

  • A suitable replacement, subject to your approval
  • A later delivery date
  • Store credit, with your consent
  • A refund for the unavailable product
  • Cancellation and refund of the affected order

We may limit the number of products purchased in a single order where reasonably necessary due to stock availability, delivery capacity or promotional restrictions.

7. Prices and VAT

All prices displayed on this website are in South African Rand.

Prices include VAT where applicable, unless expressly stated otherwise.

Delivery charges are calculated separately and will be shown during checkout before payment is completed.

We reserve the right to update prices, delivery charges, product quantities, bundles and promotional offers.

Price changes will not normally affect an order that has already been accepted and paid for, except where an obvious pricing or technical error has occurred.

8. Pricing and website errors

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product information and prices are correct.

However, technical, typographical or administrative errors may occasionally occur.

If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price, we may:

  • Contact you to explain the error
  • Offer the product at the correct price
  • Allow you to cancel the affected item
  • Cancel and refund the affected item or order

ONRUS Supplies will not be required to supply a product at a price that is clearly and materially incorrect due to an obvious error.

9. Promotions, bundles and bulk pricing

Promotional prices, bundle offers and bulk discounts are valid only:

  • During the stated promotional period
  • While promotional stock lasts
  • For the quantities specified
  • Within the delivery areas specified
  • Subject to any additional promotional conditions

Discounts cannot be exchanged for cash or combined with another promotion unless expressly stated.

Where a minimum quantity is required for a bulk discount, the discounted price applies only while the qualifying quantity remains in the cart.

If the quantity is reduced below the required amount, the normal product price may apply.

Products sold as a bundle or promotional pack may need to be returned as a complete bundle if a non-defective return is requested.

This does not limit a customer’s rights where an individual product is defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied.

10. Placing an order

To place an order, you must:

  1. Select the required products and quantities
  2. Add the products to your cart
  3. Provide accurate contact and delivery information
  4. Review the products, quantities and delivery charges
  5. Accept these Terms and Conditions
  6. Complete payment using an available payment method

You are responsible for confirming that the following information is correct before paying:

  • Product selection
  • Product quantity
  • Customer name
  • Telephone number
  • Email address
  • Delivery address
  • Billing information
  • Order total

ONRUS Supplies is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer.

11. Order acceptance

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase products from ONRUS Supplies.

An order is only accepted once:

  • Payment has been successfully completed
  • Stock availability has been confirmed
  • The delivery address has been accepted
  • You receive confirmation that the order is being processed

We reserve the right to reject or cancel an order where:

  • Payment is unsuccessful
  • Stock is unavailable
  • A price is clearly incorrect
  • Fraud is suspected
  • The delivery address is incomplete or outside our delivery area
  • The order contains an obvious technical error
  • A product cannot safely or lawfully be delivered
  • Circumstances outside our reasonable control prevent fulfilment

If we cancel a paid order, we will refund the affected amount using the original payment method where reasonably possible.

12. Order confirmation

Once your order has been submitted, you should receive an automated order confirmation by email.

This email confirms that we have received the order. It does not necessarily confirm that the order has been dispatched or delivered.

Please contact us if you do not receive an order confirmation within a reasonable period after payment.

13. Payment

Online payments are processed securely through PayFast.

The available payment methods will be displayed during checkout and may depend on the options supported by PayFast.

ONRUS Supplies does not directly store your complete card or banking details. Payment information is processed by the relevant payment provider according to its security procedures and terms.

An order will only be prepared once payment has been successfully completed and confirmed.

If a payment is declined, reversed, disputed or incomplete, the order may be placed on hold or cancelled.

Payment verification or processing delays caused by a bank or payment provider are outside the direct control of ONRUS Supplies.

14. Delivery areas

ONRUS Supplies currently offers delivery within Pretoria East and any other areas expressly made available during checkout or confirmed directly by ONRUS Supplies.

Delivery availability depends on the address entered during checkout.

We reserve the right to decline, cancel or refund an order if the delivery address falls outside our available delivery area.

We do not deliver to PO boxes.

Customers outside Pretoria East should contact ONRUS Supplies before ordering to confirm whether delivery can be arranged.

15. Delivery fees

The current delivery structure for Pretoria East is:

  • A standard delivery fee of R100 applies to qualifying orders containing up to 9 charcoal bags.
  • Orders containing 10 or more charcoal bags qualify for free delivery within Pretoria East.
  • Any different delivery charge applicable to an order will be displayed or communicated before the order is finalised.

Free delivery applies only to qualifying orders and specified delivery areas.

Delivery fees, qualifying quantities and free-delivery thresholds may be amended from time to time. The delivery charge accepted during checkout will apply to that order.

16. Delivery timeframes

The estimated delivery period is 1 to 3 working days after successful payment and order confirmation.

Working days exclude Saturdays, Sundays and South African public holidays.

Delivery dates and times are estimates and cannot always be guaranteed.

Delays may occur due to:

  • High order volumes
  • Stock availability
  • Severe weather
  • Traffic disruptions
  • Road closures
  • Vehicle breakdowns
  • Access restrictions
  • Incorrect delivery information
  • Safety concerns
  • Events outside our reasonable control

We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of a material delay.

17. Delivery arrangements

ONRUS Supplies may complete deliveries directly or through an appropriate delivery service.

We are not required to use a particular delivery provider unless this has been agreed in writing.

The delivery method may depend on:

  • The delivery address
  • Order size and weight
  • Product type
  • Product safety requirements
  • Vehicle availability
  • Delivery restrictions

Charcoal and firelighters may be subject to special handling and transportation requirements because they are combustible products.

18. Receiving an order

You must ensure that someone is available at the supplied address to receive the order.

The person accepting delivery may be required to provide:

  • Their name
  • A signature
  • The order number
  • Another reasonable confirmation of receipt

Responsibility for the products passes to the customer once the order has been delivered to:

  • The supplied delivery address
  • The customer
  • A person authorised to accept the order
  • A reception desk or security point authorised to receive deliveries

Customers should inspect their orders as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

19. Failed deliveries

If delivery cannot be completed because:

  • Nobody is available to receive the order
  • The customer cannot be contacted
  • Access to the property is restricted
  • The delivery address is incorrect
  • The delivery information is incomplete
  • The customer refuses delivery without a lawful reason

we may arrange another delivery attempt.

An additional delivery fee may apply before the order is sent out again.

If repeated delivery attempts are unsuccessful, the products may be returned to ONRUS Supplies and the order may be cancelled, subject to applicable law and the deduction of reasonable costs where legally permitted.

20. Changes to delivery information

Contact us as soon as possible if you need to change your delivery information.

We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after the order has been prepared or assigned for delivery.

Changing the delivery address may result in:

  • An additional delivery charge
  • A different delivery date
  • Cancellation of the order
  • A refund where the new address cannot be serviced

We may request identity or order verification before changing the delivery address of a paid order.

21. Order cancellations

If you wish to cancel an order, contact ONRUS Supplies as soon as possible.

Email: sales@onrussupplies.co.za
Telephone: +27 82 772 0308

We will try to assist, but cancellation cannot be guaranteed once the order has been prepared or sent for delivery.

Where an order is cancelled before preparation begins, we may issue a refund through the original payment method.

Reasonable costs already incurred may be deducted only where permitted under applicable law.

Nothing in this section limits a cancellation right granted to a consumer under South African law.

22. Incorrect, incomplete or damaged orders

If an order arrives damaged, incomplete or incorrect, notify us as soon as reasonably possible.

Please provide:

  • Your full name
  • Order number
  • Description of the issue
  • Photographs of the products
  • Photographs of the packaging
  • Details of any missing products

Retain the products and packaging until the matter has been assessed.

If we confirm that a product was damaged before delivery, incorrectly supplied or omitted from the order, we may offer:

  • Replacement of the affected product
  • Delivery of the missing product
  • Repair, where appropriate
  • Store credit, with your agreement
  • A full or partial refund

The appropriate remedy will depend on the circumstances and applicable consumer law.

23. Defective products

Products must be used and stored according to their packaging instructions and intended purpose.

If a product is defective, unsafe or does not meet the quality reasonably expected, you may have rights under the Consumer Protection Act.

Contact us with:

  • Proof of purchase
  • Your order number
  • A description of the defect
  • Supporting photographs where possible

We may inspect the product or request its return before confirming the appropriate remedy.

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights concerning defective, unsafe or poor-quality goods.

24. Non-defective returns

A return resulting from a change of mind will be considered subject to applicable law and the condition of the product.

To qualify for consideration, the product should:

  • Be unused
  • Be unopened
  • Be in its original packaging
  • Be in a resalable condition
  • Include proof of purchase
  • Be returned within the legally applicable period

Products that have been opened, used, partly consumed, contaminated, damaged after delivery or stored incorrectly may not qualify for a change-of-mind return, subject to applicable consumer law.

The customer may be responsible for the direct cost of returning a non-defective product where legally permitted.

Please contact us before returning anything. Products returned without prior arrangement may not be accepted.

25. Bundle returns

Products purchased as a bundle or promotional pack are priced as a combined offer.

Where a non-defective bundle is approved for return, the complete bundle must ordinarily be returned.

If only part of a non-defective bundle is returned, any refund may be recalculated using the normal individual prices of the products retained by the customer.

Where an individual product in a bundle is defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied, the customer’s statutory rights remain unaffected.

26. Refunds

Approved refunds will ordinarily be processed using the original payment method.

Refund processing times may depend on:

  • PayFast
  • The customer’s bank
  • The payment method used
  • Required payment verification

Any delay by a bank or payment provider in reflecting an approved refund is outside the direct control of ONRUS Supplies.

Delivery charges will only be refunded where required by law or where the return results from an error by ONRUS Supplies.

27. Product safety

Charcoal and firelighters are combustible products and must be handled, transported, used and stored responsibly.

Customers must:

  • Read and follow all product instructions and warnings
  • Keep the products away from children and pets
  • Store the products in a cool, dry and well-ventilated area
  • Keep the products away from flames, sparks and direct heat
  • Use the products only for their intended purpose
  • Keep firelighters sealed until required for use
  • Never use unsuitable accelerants to light a fire
  • Never leave a burning fire unattended
  • Ensure that the fire and coals are completely extinguished after use
  • Observe local fire restrictions and safety regulations

28. Carbon monoxide warning

Burning charcoal produces carbon monoxide.

Carbon monoxide is an invisible, odourless gas that can cause serious injury or death.

Never burn charcoal inside:

  • A house
  • A room
  • A tent
  • A vehicle
  • A garage
  • A caravan
  • An enclosed patio
  • Any inadequately ventilated space

Charcoal should only be used in a suitable, well-ventilated area and in accordance with the instructions supplied with the product.

29. Firelighter warning

Firelighters are highly flammable.

They must be:

  • Kept away from children and pets
  • Stored away from direct sunlight and heat
  • Kept away from open flames until intentionally used
  • Used only in accordance with the packaging instructions
  • Used in a properly ventilated environment

Do not add firelighters to an existing flame or hot coals unless the product instructions expressly permit this.

30. Product misuse

ONRUS Supplies is not responsible for loss, injury or damage caused by:

  • Misuse of a product
  • Unsafe storage
  • Failure to follow product instructions
  • Use in an enclosed or poorly ventilated area
  • Use by unsupervised children
  • Use with petrol, alcohol or another unsuitable accelerant
  • Failure to extinguish a fire properly
  • Use contrary to the intended purpose of the product

This section does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded under South African law.

  • Technical repairs

The latest version will be published on this website with an updated effective date.

The Terms and Conditions in effect when an order is placed will ordinarily apply to that order.

41. Governing law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Any dispute will be dealt with by a court, ombud, consumer authority or other competent body with jurisdiction under South African law.

The remainder of the Terms and Conditions will continue to apply.
